Eyes to See

Hello Sisters!
What a great weekend filled with inspiring messages. It was so comforting to listen to the Prophet and leaders of the Church. One particular message really resonated with me which was the talk by Michelle Craig who is a counselor in the YW General Presidency. Here are a few key points that I really enjoyed. I couldn't pick just one.
"There may be times when you are struggling to see how God is working in your life. Times when you feel under siege. When the trials of mortality bring you to your knees. Wait and trust in God and in His timing. Because you can trust His heart with all of yours."
"There is a core trait that we need to all get better at: Seeing each other deeply and being deeply seen. Jesus Christ sees people deeply. Where others saw fisherman and sinners, Jesus saw Disciples. Where others saw a man possessed by devils, Jesus looked past the outward stress, acknowledged him and healed him. We can see individuals. Jesus Christ loves us and can give us eyes to see. Through His grace he will bless us and increase our capacity. We can see the Lord working through the ordinary details of our life."
"The more you understand your true identity, and purpose, soul deep, the more it will influence everything in your life."
I loved this talk because it reminded me that Jesus Christ cares about me. Jesus Christ cares about YOU. I know that this is true. I know that He cares about the ordinary things that go on throughout my day. I know that He wants me to feel His love. We can pray to have our eyes open to see who we really are in God's eyes. And when we do that, our capacity to loves others and ourselves can increase.
I hope you have a great week ladies!
